Cancellation Policy

Sessions not canceled at least 24 hours in advance are subject to the full session fee.

Payment

We accept all major debit cards, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards as forms of payment. 

Insurance

Our practice does not accept insurance directly; however, we understand that cost is an important factor in accessing care. We provide a superbill after each session, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is dependent on your insurance plan and coverage. Questions you might ask your insurance company include:

1. What is my deductible for out-of-network providers? 

2. What is the reimbursement rate for CPT code 90834 (Individual psychotherapy, 45 minutes) or 90837 (Individual psychotherapy, 60 minutes) under my plan?

3. Are there any restrictions or limitations on the number of sessions covered per year for these codes?

4. Do I need to obtain pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care physician before seeking reimbursement for psychotherapy services?

5. Are there any specific documentation requirements or forms that I need to submit along with my claim for reimbursement? (For example, a superbill.)

6. How long does it typically take for reimbursement to be processed after submitting a claim for psychotherapy services?

7. Can I use funds from my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for out-of-pocket psychotherapy services, and if so, are there any additional steps or documentation required?

8. Are there any additional resources or support services available to me as a member seeking mental health treatment?
